Ancient Greek philosophy BC. The phase covering the 5th century is called the Age of Antiquity Enlightenment. The ancient enlightenment, like the later ones, has the character of a critical reaction against intellectual philosophy and a return to nature.
Whenever intellectual (speculative) philosophy has attempted to raise the claim of constructing large systems to an unbearable level for human intelligence, human intelligence has always been shaken and tried to wake up from dreamy sleep by showing a critical reaction against it. It was the same in ancient Greece. BC Until the 5th century, such intellectual assumptions had been put forward that it was necessary to return to the earth (nature and man) from these bright dreams rising towards the heavens.
It is the sophistication movement that brought about the Greek enlightenment. Ancient scholars replaced human law (nomos) with natural law (physis). The ancient age of enlightenment prepared Socrates, who completely turned his back on metaphysics.
