Socrates has a philosophical understanding that emphasizes the measured human model. The human being in it is a moral being and has an order in itself. The development of man should also be in accordance with this order. For him, the most suitable education method for this harmonious structure of man is the dialogue method.

Dialogue method; It should begin with irony, continue with a question-answer, and end with a provocative discovery-discovery. In other words, the philosophical thinking style advocated by Socrates is aimed at revealing the natural structures in human beings. This is also true for the philosophy of education.

Basically, it can be said that Socrates sought solutions to pedagogical problems through moral philosophy.
