There are four noble truths for Buddha. These:

1. Dukkha (Suffering): Suffering is a part of existence from birth to death.
2. Samudaya (Source of Suffering): The source of suffering is the attachment to power through sensual pleasures and worldly blessings.
3. Nirodha (End of suffering): Suffering ends when one is purged of pleasures.
4. Magga (Path to the dissolution of suffering): The eight step path is the remedy for eliminating pain and overcoming the ego.
