The theory, which asserts that knowledge is formed by the images reflected to the human consciousness through sensations from the objective reality that exists outside of the human consciousness, independently of human consciousness.
Images are reflections of objective reality in the human mind. This is the process of transforming the material into the mental. There are two types of images: sensory images and rational images. Sensory images are sensations, perceptions, and representations; rational images are concepts, propositions, theories, and assumptions. Since images are the ‘subjective reflection of the objective world’, every image is the unity of the subjective and the objective.
