Materialistic Indian doctrine. According to some writers, the term lokayata, which is considered to be a development of the old Indian materialism charvaka doctrine and used as a synonym for charvaka by some, names the solid and progressive materialist current in Indian philosophy. According to the Lokayata teaching, the first substance in the universe from which everything is composed is soil; Elements such as water, air, and fire were formed from it through evolution and formed the first four material elements of the universe. These elements are made up of their own unique atoms. Atoms do not change and do not split. They have existed since time immemorial and will remain forever.

These atoms gave rise to living beings, down to the adolescents of consciousness and sense. With the death of living things, these atoms mix with nature and enter into new combinations. Information is perceptual, it is perceived by sense elements, there can be no information other than what is perceived by the senses. God, soul, transmigration, etc. All such spiritual assumptions are absurd.
