Neo-Realism or Neo-Realism; It is a comprehensive expression that expresses various tendencies such as neo-thinker, neo-positivist, mathematical logician, etc., in the same idealistic structure. Their common argument is to accept the reality of the concepts (universals, universals, general concepts) that they regard as ideal beings, that they exist independently of the mind, and to argue that the known is inherent in the mind independent of knowledge.

Neorealists absolutize the independence of information content from the process of knowing. Although they are a metaphysical teaching, they fall into the contradiction of opposing metaphysics. They fight the new Hegelian idealism, ignoring their own idealism. On the one hand, they argue that nature and natural sciences should be taken as a basis, on the other hand, they say that concepts exist independently of the mind.

According to Alfred North Whitehead, one of the representatives of neorealism, neorealism combined the elements of materialism and idealism; In his work titled “Process and Reality” (1929), he explains that earthly processes are an experiment of god, and that history is ruled by ideas and therefore by great men. Bertrand Russell, one of the great representatives of neorealism, also combines neorealism with new positivism and argues that philosophy is nothing but the logical analysis of language, and that psychology is the basis of all sciences, he is agnostic in epistemology, he rejects the materialist epistemology and replaces it with skepticism. As you can see, these are all unscientific and idealistic claims.
