Also called volitional metaphysics. With this phrase, some historians of philosophy refer to the Italian Hegelianism represented by Benedetto Croce and Giovanni Gentile. French thinker Main de Biran’s voluntarist personalism, Victor Cousin’s teachings, which are called by some priests the philosophy of decency, are considered neo-reflective teachings.

Many and varied forms of neoreflectiveism have emerged in our time; Phenomenology, Mah’ism, neorealism, neocriticism, personalityism, philosophy of life, etc. is in the discipline of neo-reflectiveism. Usually Felix Ravaisson, Jules Lachelier, Maurice Blondel, Boutroux, Bergson, Herbert Bradiey, Bernard Bosanquet, Th. Hill Green, Octave Hamelin, Rudolph Hermann Lotze, Gustave Th. Fechner. Wilhelm Wundt is considered to be the main representatives of neo-reflectiveism. Contemporary bourgeois philosophies are new or old reflective teachings. From this point of view, it is easy to see that even existentialism, which is the fashion philosophy of our age, is a neo-reflective doctrine. The common feature of all these teachings is that they are anti-scientific and unscientific, despite the claims of some to be based on scientific data.
