What is Object, What Does It Mean?July 2, 2021
What is outside the subject and subject to his knowledge. According to dialectical materialism, everything that exists in the external world independent of human consciousness and is the subject of knowing is the ‘object’, while the conscious human being is the ‘subject’. Both are a whole and the relationship between them is a dialectical relationship of mutual influence. Man changes the object by acquiring the knowledge of the object and changes himself while changing the object. Objects that Kantianism considers unknowable (things-in-itself N.) have been known and reproduced with the advancement of science.
The appropriation and priority of the object over the subject is clear. Because without the reflected object, there would be no conscious and subjective reflection. Because man depends on the laws of the object, and cannot change, create or destroy these laws. People make their own history in the direction of subjective (needs and N.) goals, which are formed by the knowledge of both objective conditions and these objective laws and obtained from objective conditions. However, the objective and the subjective do not work at the same speed, because the basic object and the non-essential subjective are not equivalent, and it may take a long time and delay before the objective can be grasped subjectively.
