What is World View, What Does It Mean?July 1, 2021
The general scientific opinion that provides consistency between all of man’s thoughts and feelings (and his attitude, attitude, behavior, actions).
In this sense, it is necessary to be truly enlightened in order to have a worldview. The term worldview is often misused and it is assumed that those who adhere to various classes and understandings may have separate worldviews. However, the concept of worldview carries scientific objectivity, so it is impossible to have one way or another view on the world or on the attitude to life. The view of a person, of a class, of a doctrine, not a worldview; it is only the view of that person, that class, that teaching.
Idioms that derive from this understanding, such as “every opinion is respectable”, are absurd and unscientific, but scientific and therefore correct opinions are respectable, the opinion of an ignorant or foolish person is not at all respectable. In order to be enlightened or to have a world view, it is not enough to be a scholar in one or several branches of knowledge, it is necessary to transform that knowledge into a world view by integrating it with universal and basic knowledge. Scientific truth is one and therefore there is only one worldview. However, one can be consistent in this real world view, and it cannot be consistent in any other view and understanding.
