Antipatros (Greek: Ἀντίπατρος Antipatros; c. 397 BC – 319 BC) is a Macedonian general and thinker.

There are also rumors that Antipatros was good friends with Alexander the Great’s mother, Olympias, and even was the father of Alexander. He supported Alexander after Philip’s death to ensure the safety of Macedonia.

In the Battle of Issus, he found an open solution to the dispute that occurred due to the sudden death of Alexander. He tried to explain that Alexander died of natural causes, but other generals did not believe this. They thought that Alexander was poisoned by Antipatros as a result of an assassination and they killed Antipatros in the same way.
