Who is Aristides of Athens?December 13, 2020
Athenian Aristides or Marcianus Aristeides was one of the first Christian apologists to live in the 2nd century.
Known for his apology, “Defense for the Christian Faith”, Aristeides criticized the Gods of the Greeks and Egyptians, the Greek understanding of morality, and put forward evidence of movement for the existence of God, other than the proof of order and purpose.
It only says that Christians have true faith in God. It tries to base the Christians’ belief in one god. According to Aristidis, God continues to create and control the universe.
