Euthydemos Kim is a sophist philosopher in ancient Greece and also one of the dialogues written by Plato.
In Plato’s work, Socrates is discussing in front of a community with Euthydemus and Dionysodoros, two sophistic brothers, philosophers. The debate continues on topics such as what philosophy is, how knowledge can be reached, what can be known and what cannot be known. It is a form of refusal, which aims to silence the other side by creating contradictions and ambiguities, based on defeating the opponent in whatever way, which was the way of discussion of the sophists at that time, with the dialectical method of Socrates. it’s like a fight. The dialogue takes place at a time when Socrates has not yet taken his full serious attitude towards the sophists.
