Friedrich Wilhel Nietzsche was an existentialist German philosopher who lived from October 15, 1844 to August 25, 1900 and is known for his original ideas such as “Will to Power”, “The Overman”, “Eternal return”.

Nietzsche’s philosophy teaching is seen as a complete opposition to his age. All he cares about is to free people from the grip of rationality and make them think on their own. According to him, God is dead and people are left alone in the world. That is why people should put aside their hopes and desires from God and devote themselves to the Earth. In this way, it is easier to establish a connection between thought and life.

By trying to bring new values to people, Nietzsche argued that it is possible to progress in the rule of strong people, in humanity, which he describes as a herd, consisting of the majority. The pack will self-sacrifice to determine the overman. The superhuman is seen as a person who can call himself “mine” and determines the reality he sees with his own eyes. At the root of all existence is the will to become stronger. According to Nietzsche, human beings do not only want to protect themselves and live, on the contrary, their main desire is to be even stronger.

He has written criticism on topics such as religion, morality, contemporary culture, philosophy and science. Nietzsche’s effects were on philosophy, existentialism and postmodernism. He defended the relativity of values and attacked the concepts of “good” and “bad”.
