Who is Jiddu Krishnamurti?June 25, 2021
Indian-born thinker, speaker and writer.
He was born in Madanapalle, India. In 1909 C.W. Discovered by Leadbeater. At the age of 13 he was chosen as a “world teacher” by the Theosophical Society. His speeches and writings are not affiliated with any religion. Although he was attributed as messiah, he absolutely rejected it. Despite reaching a wide audience all over the world, he himself dissolved the organization created by those around him. He never saw himself as an authority and did not want disciples to form around him. He always preferred to speak to an individual as another individual. Krishnamurti continued his speeches until his death in 1986.
His works are compiled from speeches he made while traveling the world.
In his speeches, he said that there is “a country with no paths to the truth/truth” (“truth is a pathless land.”) and that the truth/truth will come by itself only if the individual lives with a quiet/calm awareness and integrating with all life. Oneness and oneness of Death and Life, that life cannot be static, fear, freedom, violence, nature and environment etc. gave speeches on
