Justin Flavius. He is a Christian Apologist who lived between 100 – 164 BC.

St. Justinus, who defended that philosophy is the most valuable gift that God offers to man, putting him on the path of God, was very influenced by Plato’s teaching of ideas as immaterial realities in philosophy, while waiting to reach a clear vision of God and the Idea of the Good within this framework. He suddenly converted to Christianity because of the inadequacy of Greek philosophy.

St. Justinus, after this turn, argued that solid, precise and sure knowledge about God, true philosophy, can only be reached by accepting the revelation.
