Austrian-born philosopher, scientist, educator, artist, esotericist, writer, founder of anthroposophy.
He was born in Kraljevec in 1861. He studied social sciences and mathematics at the Vienna Higher Technical School. In 1891, he completed his doctorate at the University of Rostock with the thesis “Truth and Knowledge”. Between 1889 and 1896 he prepared all of Goethe’s works for publication. In 1902 H.P. He joined the Theosophical Society, which Blavatsky had founded. However, he later left this society on the grounds that the “path of truth” could not be based solely on Eastern mysticism, and in 1913 he founded the Anthroposophical Society, which adopted reincarnation as its principle. Steiner defined anthroposophy as a “path of spiritual development”. Inspired by the writings of Goethe in 1920, he named the school he founded Goetheanum. He spent the last twenty-five years of his life giving lectures and lectures on spirituality, social sciences, education, arts, agriculture, and health. Steiner’s work provided the basis for initiatives to establish schools, science research centers and arts schools for children with disabilities in many countries.
